Our Mission

Latin America ChildCare is dedicated to transforming the lives of needy children with the Good News of Jesus Christ through education and ministries of compassion.

Our Vision

The shared vision of this community of committed people is…

Caring for children through nutrition, health care and spiritual formation programs.

Applying knowledge and skills in the real-life context of students.

Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through our words and deeds with children, their families and their community.

The Mission of Latin America ChildCare is the transformation of children by means of a relationship with Jesus Christ through a quality education and other ministries of compassion.

LACC has been helping children since 1963.

LACC represents the largest network of Evangelical Christian Schools in Latin America with 300 schools in 21 countries affecting the lives of nearly 100,000 children each day.

Over the last 46 years more than a million children have attended an LACC school.

For many children the meal they receive in the school is the only meal they eat each day.

The children most often live with parents or extended family

Child sponsorship provides:

* A quality education in a Christian setting
* A safe environment where the children experience God’s love
* Preventative medical and dental education

When needed:

* A uniform
* Hot meals
* Medical Attention

Sponsorship is an extremely affordable commitment of $32 a month – just over a dollar a day. Please sign up only if you are committed to building a relationship with this child.

The poor often have to move to find work. If your child leaves the program, you will be notified and given the opportunity to sponsor a different child.

There are tremendous benefits of sponsoring a child. You will be sharing God’s heart with those who have little. You will receive a monthly letter telling you about what is happening in the ministry.

Latin America Childcare represents the largest integrated network of evangelical schools in Latin America and the Caribbean. Founded in 1963, the ministry has grown to include over 300 projects affecting more than 100,000 children in 21 countries. It continues to touch thousands of Latin Americans with the truth of the gospel…to equip them with the basic skills for competing in, and transforming, their society…and to give them the things dreams are made of: a future.
